Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2014 Sothebys in London held the auction Russian Art Day Sale, which included the work Crimean Still Life by Vladimir Ovchinnikov. The price achieved of GBP 6,000.00 (€ 7,496.71) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Admittedly, works by Vladimir Ovchinnikov have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Before The Celebration, After The Celebration in February 2007 with an auction result of GBP 43,200.00 (€ 64,042.45).
