Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Paris And The Parisians by Lado Gudiashvili was sold in the Russian Art Evening auction at Sothebys in London in November 2008. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 150,000.00 – 200,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 157,250.00 (€ 190,127.07) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Lado Gudiashvili have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work By The Black Stream in November 2012 with an auction result of GBP 937,250.00 (€ 1,154,596.91).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Paris And The Parisians von Lado Gudiashvili wurde im November 2008 in der Auktion Russian Art Evening bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 150.000,00 – 200.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 157.250,00 (€ 190.127,07) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Lado Gudiashvili auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit By The Black Stream im November 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 937.250,00 (€ 1.154.596,91).
