Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2015 Sothebys in London held the auction Russian Pictures, which included the work The Housekeeper by Vladimir Davidovich Baranov-Rossiné. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 50,000.00 – 70,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 52,500.00 (€ 74,024.34) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Vladimir Davidovich Baranov-Rossiné achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Rhythm (Adam and Eve) in June 2008 with an auction result of GBP 2,729,250.00 (€ 3,449,863.51).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni 2015 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Russian Pictures durch, in der auch die Arbeit The Housekeeper von Vladimir Davidovich Baranov-Rossiné zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 50.000,00 – 70.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 52.500,00 (€ 74.024,34) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Vladimir Davidovich Baranov-Rossiné erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Rhythm (Adam and Eve) im Juni 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 2.729.250,00 (€ 3.449.863,51).
