Auction result well in line with expectations
In April 2012 Christies in New York held the auction 19th Century European Paintings, which included the work The Recital by Vittorio Reggianini. The price achieved of USD 218,500.00 (€ 165,167.44) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 150,000.00 – 250,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Vittorio Reggianini - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The Birthday, which sold at auction in October 2000 for USD 292,000.00 (€ 344,096.16).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April 2012 führte Christies in New York die Auktion 19th Century European Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit The Recital von Vittorio Reggianini zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 218.500,00 (€ 165.167,44) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 150.000,00 – 250.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Vittorio Reggianini mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit The Birthday beobachtet, die im Oktober 2000 für USD 292.000,00 (€ 344.096,16) versteigert wurde.
