Auction result well in line with expectations

It changed hands for a price of USD 118,750.00 (€ 87,060.12) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 80,000.00 – 120,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Vittorio Reggianini - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The Birthday, which sold at auction in October 2000 for USD 292,000.00 (€ 344,096.16).
