In September 2012 Christies in London held the auction 19th Century European Art Including Orientalist Art, which included the work In the harem by Vittorio Rappini. The price achieved of GBP 1,750.00 (€ 2,195.94) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 1,500.00 – 2,000.00.
