This artwork by Vittorio Amedeo Cignaroli achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Rome in December 2002. In the DIPINTI E DISEGNI ANTICHI auction, the work Sosta di cacciatori e compagnia galante su cavallo in un paesaggio con rovine sullo sfondo sold for EUR 42,160.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 20,000.00. Admittedly, works by Vittorio Amedeo Cignaroli have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Paesaggio fluviale con ponte e viandanti; e Paesaggio fluviale con viandanti in November 2007 with an auction result of EUR 201,800.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Vittorio Amedeo Cignaroli erzielte im Dezember 2002 bei Christies in Rom einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion DIPINTI E DISEGNI ANTICHI wurde die Arbeit Sosta di cacciatori e compagnia galante su cavallo in un paesaggio con rovine sullo sfondo für EUR 42.160,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 20.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Vittorio Amedeo Cignaroli auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Paesaggio fluviale con ponte e viandanti; e Paesaggio fluviale con viandanti im November 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 201.800,00.
