Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2008 Sothebys in Milan held the auction Old Master Paintings, which included the work Paesaggio Con Viandanti Lungo Un Fiume, Un Edificio Turrito Sulla Rocca by Vittorio Amedeo Cignaroli. The price achieved of EUR 29,050.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 25,000.00 – 35,000.00. Admittedly, works by Vittorio Amedeo Cignaroli have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Paesaggio fluviale con ponte e viandanti; e Paesaggio fluviale con viandanti in November 2007 with an auction result of EUR 201,800.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai 2008 führte Sothebys in Mailand die Auktion Old Master Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Paesaggio Con Viandanti Lungo Un Fiume, Un Edificio Turrito Sulla Rocca von Vittorio Amedeo Cignaroli zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 29.050,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 25.000,00 – 35.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Vittorio Amedeo Cignaroli auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Paesaggio fluviale con ponte e viandanti; e Paesaggio fluviale con viandanti im November 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 201.800,00.
