Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work Czech Antilyrique. Paris: Éditions G.L.M., 1936 by Vítězslav Nezval was auctioned at Sothebys in London in November 2014, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of GBP 800.00 – 1,200.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for GBP 500.00 (€ 628.64). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Vítězslav Nezval - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Czech Idovský Hřbitov. Prague: Odeon, 1928, which sold at auction in November 2014 for GBP 1,250.00 (€ 1,571.60).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit Czech Antilyrique. Paris: Éditions G.L.M., 1936 von Vítězslav Nezval im November 2014 bei Sothebys in London versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 800,00 – 1.200,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für GBP 500,00 (€ 628,64) den Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Vítězslav Nezval mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Czech Idovský Hřbitov. Prague: Odeon, 1928 beobachtet, die im November 2014 für GBP 1.250,00 (€ 1.571,60) versteigert wurde.
