In the Collection de Madame Darthea Speyer, une Américaine à Paris (Vente Sans Prix de Réserve) auction, the work Sans titre sold for EUR 750.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 300.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Velu Viswanadhan achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Sans Titre, 2004 in December 2007 with an auction result of EUR 34,698.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Velu Viswanadhan erzielte im Juli 2010 bei Christies in Paris einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Collection de Madame Darthea Speyer, une Américaine à Paris (Vente Sans Prix de Réserve) wurde die Arbeit Sans titre für EUR 750,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 300,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Velu Viswanadhan erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Sans Titre, 2004 im Dezember 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 34.698,00.
