It achieved a price of EUR 6,250.00 exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 56 %. Admittedly, works by Velu Viswanadhan have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Sans Titre, 2004 in December 2007 with an auction result of EUR 34,698.00.

Die Arbeit Sans Titre von Velu Viswanadhan wurde im Oktober 2012 in der Auktion Rendez-Vous - Intérieurs Contemporains bei Christies in Paris versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 6.250,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 56 %. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Velu Viswanadhan auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Sans Titre, 2004 im Dezember 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 34.698,00.
