The price achieved of USD 4,541.00 (€ 3,657.08) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Other works by Velu Vishwanadhan have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in September 2002 the work without title was auctioned for USD 6,572.50 (€ 6,653.00).
