In April 2011 Christies in London held the auction Old Masters & 19th Century Art, which included the work Fishermen on the Bay of Naples by Vincenzo Loria. The auction ended at the price of GBP 1,500.00 (€ 1,689.26), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Other works by Vincenzo Loria have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in December 2005 the work A game of cards; and Young and old was auctioned for GBP 2,160.00 (€ 3,135.12).
