Auction result well in line with expectations
In July this year Bonhams in London held the auction Old Master Paintings, which included the work Study of a purple heron (Ardea purpurea) by Vincenzo Leonardi. The price achieved of GBP 28,160.00 (€ 32,854.19) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 25,000.00 – 35,000.00. Other works by Vincenzo Leonardi have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in March 2021 the work Une Grande Outarde (Otis Tarda L.) was auctioned for EUR 60,000.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juli diesen Jahres führte Bonhams in London die Auktion Old Master Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Study of a purple heron (Ardea purpurea) von Vincenzo Leonardi zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 28.160,00 (€ 32.854,19) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 25.000,00 – 35.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Vincenzo Leonardi konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im März 2021 die Arbeit Une Grande Outarde (Otis Tarda L.) für EUR 60.000,00 versteigert.
