Auction result well in line with expectations
The work A wood pigeon (Columba palumbus) by Vincenzo Leonardi was auctioned at Christies in London in July this year. The price achieved of GBP 12,600.00 (€ 14,700.38) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Admittedly, works by Vincenzo Leonardi have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Une Grande Outarde (Otis Tarda L.) in March 2021 with an auction result of EUR 60,000.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit A wood pigeon (Columba palumbus) von Vincenzo Leonardi kam im Juli diesen Jahres bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 12.600,00 (€ 14.700,38) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Vincenzo Leonardi auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Une Grande Outarde (Otis Tarda L.) im März 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 60.000,00.
