In April 2008 Christies in New York held the auction Christie's Interiors, which included the work Italian Beauty by Vincenzo Caprile. The »bidding war« ended at USD 2,750.00 (€ 1,766.44), 38% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Vincenzo Caprile achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Mercato di Pasqua a Napoli in November 2002 with an auction result of EUR 130,200.00.

Oberer Schätzpreis um 38 % übertroffen

Im April 2008 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Christie's Interiors durch, in der auch die Arbeit Italian Beauty von Vincenzo Caprile zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 2.750,00 (€ 1.766,44) und damit 38% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Vincenzo Caprile erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Mercato di Pasqua a Napoli im November 2002 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 130.200,00.
