This price was achieved in the auction Old Master Drawings: Online at Christies in London and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of GBP 5,000.00 many times over. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Vicente Carducho achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Christ In Contemplation Before His Crucifixion in July 2018 with an auction result of GBP 322,000.00 (€ 361,032.80).
