Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Nº82 by Vincent Michéa was sold in the Handpicked: 50 works selected by the Saatchi Collection - Online Only auction at Christies in London in June 2018. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 3,250.00 (€ 3,673.05) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Vincent Michéa - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Before The Bigger Splash, which sold at auction in May 2017 for GBP 11,250.00 (€ 12,921.08).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Nº82 von Vincent Michéa wurde im Juni 2018 in der Auktion Handpicked: 50 works selected by the Saatchi Collection - Online Only bei Christies in London versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 3.250,00 (€ 3.673,05) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Für andere Arbeiten von Vincent Michéa mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Before The Bigger Splash beobachtet, die im Mai 2017 für GBP 11.250,00 (€ 12.921,08) versteigert wurde.
