A top price for Vincent Michéa
In May 2017 Sothebys in London held the auction Modern and Contemporary African Art, which included the work Before The Bigger Splash by Vincent Michéa. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 11,250.00 (€ 12,921.08), 41% above the upper estimate. With this result, Before The Bigger Splash is even the most expensive work of art by Vincent Michéa that we have observed at auctions so far.

Im Mai 2017 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Modern and Contemporary African Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Before The Bigger Splash von Vincent Michéa zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 11.250,00 (€ 12.921,08) und damit 41% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Mit diesem Ergebnis ist Before The Bigger Splash sogar das teuerste Kunstwerk von Vincent Michéa, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
