Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Vincent Michéa could be acquired at Bonhams in London in December 2021 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Modern & Contemporary African Art Online auction, the work Nº 65 changed hands for GBP 1,275.00 (€ 1,520.81) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 2,000.00 – 4,000.00. Admittedly, works by Vincent Michéa have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Before The Bigger Splash in May 2017 with an auction result of GBP 11,250.00 (€ 12,921.08).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Vincent Michéa konnte im Dezember 2021 bei Bonhams in London für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Modern & Contemporary African Art Online wechselte die Arbeit Nº 65 für GBP 1.275,00 (€ 1.520,81) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 2.000,00 – 4.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Vincent Michéa auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Before The Bigger Splash im Mai 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 11.250,00 (€ 12.921,08).
