Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2020 Bonhams in Edinburgh held the auction The Scottish Sale, which included the work a bronze sculpture of a Girl with long hair by Vincent Butler. The price achieved of GBP 357.00 (€ 396.42) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 300.00 – 400.00. Other works by Vincent Butler have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in October 2020 the work a cold cast bronze sculpture of William Wallace was auctioned for GBP 510.00 (€ 566.31).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2020 führte Bonhams in Edinburgh die Auktion The Scottish Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit a bronze sculpture of a Girl with long hair von Vincent Butler zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 357,00 (€ 396,42) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 300,00 – 400,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Vincent Butler konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Oktober 2020 die Arbeit a cold cast bronze sculpture of William Wallace für GBP 510,00 (€ 566,31) versteigert.
