In October 2020 Bonhams in Edinburgh held the auction The Scottish Sale, which included the work a bronze sculpture of a Girl with long hair by Vincent Butler. The price achieved of GBP 357.00 (€ 396.42) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 300.00 – 400.00. Other works by Vincent Butler have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in October 2020 the work a cold cast bronze sculpture of William Wallace was auctioned for GBP 510.00 (€ 566.31).
