Auction result misses estimated price range
In October 2020 a collector was able to acquire the work A bronze sculpture of a family group by Vincent Butler for GBP 280.50 (€ 311.47). This price was achieved in the auction The Scottish Sale at Bonhams in Edinburgh and was even below the estimate range of GBP 400.00 – 600.00 set by the auction house. Other works by Vincent Butler have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in October 2020 by the work a cold cast bronze sculpture of William Wallace at GBP 510.00 (€ 566.31).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Oktober 2020 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit A bronze sculpture of a family group von Vincent Butler für GBP 280,50 (€ 311,47) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion The Scottish Sale bei Bonhams in Edinburgh erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 400,00 – 600,00. Andere Arbeiten von Vincent Butler wurden auch schon teurer gehandelt; den höchsten Preis, den wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachten konnten, erzielte im Oktober 2020 die Arbeit a cold cast bronze sculpture of William Wallace mit GBP 510,00 (€ 566,31).
