Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Ida Hammershøi by Vilhelm Hammershøi was auctioned at Sothebys in London in July last year. It achieved a price of GBP 35,280.00 (€ 42,130.59), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 18%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Vilhelm Hammershøi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Stue (Interior with an Oval Mirror) in May last year with an auction result of USD 6,300,000.00 (€ 5,870,841.49).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Ida Hammershøi von Vilhelm Hammershøi kam im Juli letzten Jahres bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 35.280,00 (€ 42.130,59) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 18%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Vilhelm Hammershøi erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Stue (Interior with an Oval Mirror) im Mai letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 6.300.000,00 (€ 5.870.841,49).
