A top price for Viggo Fauerholdt - as previously expected
The work Moored sailing vessels by a coast at dusk by Viggo Fauerholdt was auctioned at Christies in Amsterdam in February 2004. The price achieved of EUR 3,107.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 2,500.00 – 3,500.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Moored sailing vessels by a coast at dusk is the most expensive artwork by Viggo Fauerholdt that we have observed at auctions so far.
