Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Landscape from Bornholm with a view towards Christiansø by Viggo Fauerholdt was sold in the Paintings, furniture and varia auction at Bruun Rasmussen in December this year. It achieved a price of DKK 9,500.00 (€ 1,274.45), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 19%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Viggo Fauerholdt - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Moored sailing vessels by a coast at dusk, which sold at auction in February 2004 for EUR 3,107.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Landscape from Bornholm with a view towards Christiansø von Viggo Fauerholdt wurde im Dezember diesen Jahres in der Auktion Paintings, furniture and varia bei Bruun Rasmussen versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von DKK 9.500,00 (€ 1.274,45) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 19%. Für andere Arbeiten von Viggo Fauerholdt mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Moored sailing vessels by a coast at dusk beobachtet, die im Februar 2004 für EUR 3.107,00 versteigert wurde.
