Auction result misses estimated price range
In December this year a collector was able to acquire the work Beachview with a dinhie drawn up on the shore by Viggo Fauerholdt for DKK 3,000.00 (€ 402.46). This price was achieved in the auction Paintings, furniture and varia at Bruun Rasmussen and was even below the estimate range of DKK 6,000.00 – 8,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Viggo Fauerholdt have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Moored sailing vessels by a coast at dusk in February 2004 with an auction result of EUR 3,107.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Dezember diesen Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Beachview with a dinhie drawn up on the shore von Viggo Fauerholdt für DKK 3.000,00 (€ 402,46) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Paintings, furniture and varia bei Bruun Rasmussen erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von DKK 6.000,00 – 8.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Viggo Fauerholdt auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Moored sailing vessels by a coast at dusk im Februar 2004 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 3.107,00.
