Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Victor Schrager could be acquired at Christies in New York in July 2004 for an unexpectedly low price. In the The House Sale auction, the work Untitled, 1979 changed hands for USD 418.25 (€ 347.61) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 600.00 – 800.00. Admittedly, works by Victor Schrager have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Untitled #71, 2004 in October 2021 with an auction result of USD 1,750.00 (€ 1,514.89).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Victor Schrager konnte im Juli 2004 bei Christies in New York für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion The House Sale wechselte die Arbeit Untitled, 1979 für USD 418,25 (€ 347,61) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 600,00 – 800,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Victor Schrager auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Untitled #71, 2004 im Oktober 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 1.750,00 (€ 1.514,89).
