Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Mujer by Victor Manuel was auctioned at Christies in New York in November 2017. The price achieved of USD 22,500.00 (€ 18,910.74) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 20,000.00 – 25,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Victor Manuel achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Carnaval (Escena de comparsa) in November 2016 with an auction result of USD 319,500.00 (€ 302,041.97).
