A top price for Victor Gilsoul - as previously expected
The work Belgian La Toilette by Victor Gilsoul was auctioned at Sothebys in Amsterdam in May 2007. The price achieved of EUR 3,600.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Belgian La Toilette is the most expensive artwork by Victor Gilsoul that we have observed at auctions so far.

Die Arbeit Belgian La Toilette von Victor Gilsoul kam im Mai 2007 bei Sothebys in Amsterdam zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 3.600,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Belgian La Toilette das teuerste Kunstwerk von Victor Gilsoul, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
