This artwork by Victor Ekpuk achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bonhams in London in October last year. In the Modern & Contemporary African Art auction, the work Children of the Full Moon sold for GBP 19,125.00 (€ 22,280.41) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 8,000.00. This high result makes Children of the Full Moon the most expensive artwork by Victor Ekpuk that we have observed at auctions so far.
