Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Verdy could be acquired at Phillips in an online auction in February last year for an unexpectedly low price. In the My Kawaii Valentine: Online Auction auction, the work Vick "GDC" Lamp changed hands for HKD 4,788.00 (€ 545.60) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of HKD 7,000.00 – 9,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Verdy - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Vick “GDC” Lamp, which sold at auction in October 2020 for HKD 10,625.00 (€ 1,176.81).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Verdy konnte im Februar letzten Jahres bei Phillips in einer Online-Auktion für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion My Kawaii Valentine: Online Auction wechselte die Arbeit Vick "GDC" Lamp für HKD 4.788,00 (€ 545,60) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 7.000,00 – 9.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Verdy mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Vick “GDC” Lamp beobachtet, die im Oktober 2020 für HKD 10.625,00 (€ 1.176,81) versteigert wurde.
