A top price for Verdy - as previously expected
The work Vick “GDC” Lamp by Verdy was auctioned at Phillips in an online auction in October 2020. The price achieved of HKD 10,625.00 (€ 1,176.81) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Vick “GDC” Lamp is the most expensive artwork by Verdy that we have observed at auctions so far.

Die Arbeit Vick “GDC” Lamp von Verdy kam im Oktober 2020 bei Phillips in einer Online-Auktion zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 10.625,00 (€ 1.176,81) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben worden. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Vick “GDC” Lamp das teuerste Kunstwerk von Verdy, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
