Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2021 Bukowski in Stockholm held the auction Modern Art + Design, which included the work Portrait of a young man by Vera Nilsson. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of SEK 30,000.00 – 40,000.00, the actual price achieved of SEK 32,000.00 (€ 3,159.59) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Vera Nilsson achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work "Venus" in June 2012 with an auction result of SEK 490,000.00 (€ 55,931.48).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai 2021 führte Bukowski in Stockholm die Auktion Modern Art + Design durch, in der auch die Arbeit Portrait of a young man von Vera Nilsson zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von SEK 30.000,00 – 40.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von SEK 32.000,00 (€ 3.159,59) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Vera Nilsson erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit "Venus" im Juni 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 490.000,00 (€ 55.931,48).
