Auction result well in line with expectations
In April 2021 Christies in New York held the auction Photographs, which included the work 333 North Michigan Avenue, Chicago, Il, October 16, 2001 by Vera Lutter. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 40,000.00 – 60,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 43,750.00 (€ 36,367.41) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Vera Lutter have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in October 2005 the work Brooklyn Bridge was auctioned for GBP 48,000.00 (€ 70,785.49).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April 2021 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Photographs durch, in der auch die Arbeit 333 North Michigan Avenue, Chicago, Il, October 16, 2001 von Vera Lutter zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 40.000,00 – 60.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 43.750,00 (€ 36.367,41) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Andere Arbeiten von Vera Lutter konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Oktober 2005 die Arbeit Brooklyn Bridge für GBP 48.000,00 (€ 70.785,49) versteigert.
