Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Ventura Domenico; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Portrait Of A Young Lady, Seated In A Floral Embroidered Armchair sold at auction in December 2007 with the realized price of GBP 1,062.50 (€ 1,443.76).
