Die Arbeit Marina von Velasco Vitali kam im Mai 2010 bei Christies in Mailand zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 10.400,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 49 %. Für andere Arbeiten von Velasco Vitali mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit M2 beobachtet, die im Mai 2011 für EUR 36.080,00 versteigert wurde.
