Here, the upper estimate of USD 8,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 8,750.00 (€ 5,835.67). Admittedly, works by Vasily Grachev have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A Bronze Group Of A Mounted Cossack With Hounds in April 2008 with an auction result of USD 46,000.00 (€ 29,547.79).

Die Arbeit A Russian Bronze Of A Warrior Of The Caucasus von Vasily Grachev wurde im November 2009 in der Auktion Russian Art bei Sothebys in New York versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 8.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 8.750,00 (€ 5.835,67) einen neuen Besitzer.
