Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Greek Untitled by Vangelis Rinas was auctioned at Sothebys in London in November 2008. The price achieved of GBP 9,375.00 (€ 11,335.08) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Vangelis Rinas - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Greek Seated Girl, which sold at auction in November 2008 for GBP 25,000.00 (€ 30,226.88).
