In May 2011 Sothebys in London held the auction The Greek Sale, which included the work Greek two Tankers: A Pair by Vangelis Rinas. The result of GBP 15,000.00 (€ 17,152.55) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. Other works by Vangelis Rinas have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in November 2008 the work Greek Seated Girl was auctioned for GBP 25,000.00 (€ 30,226.88).

Im Mai 2011 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion The Greek Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Greek two Tankers: A Pair von Vangelis Rinas zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von GBP 15.000,00 (€ 17.152,55) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 15.000,00 – 20.000,00. Andere Arbeiten von Vangelis Rinas konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im November 2008 die Arbeit Greek Seated Girl für GBP 25.000,00 (€ 30.226,88) versteigert.
