A top price for Vangelis Rinas - as previously expected
In November 2008 Sothebys in London held the auction The Greek Sale, which included the work Greek Seated Girl by Vangelis Rinas. The price achieved of GBP 25,000.00 (€ 30,226.88) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Greek Seated Girl is the most expensive artwork by Vangelis Rinas that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Im November 2008 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion The Greek Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Greek Seated Girl von Vangelis Rinas zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 25.000,00 (€ 30.226,88) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 20.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben worden. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Greek Seated Girl das teuerste Kunstwerk von Vangelis Rinas, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
