In March this year Bonhams held the auction Pictures and Prints Online, which included the work London Children in the Country by Vanessa Bell. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 204.00 (€ 232.09), 36% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Vanessa Bell achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Autumn Bouquet in March 2021 with an auction result of GBP 256,250.00 (€ 301,027.74).

Im März diesen Jahres führte Bonhams die Auktion Pictures and Prints Online durch, in der auch die Arbeit London Children in the Country von Vanessa Bell zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 204,00 (€ 232,09) und damit 36% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Vanessa Bell erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Autumn Bouquet im März 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 256.250,00 (€ 301.027,74).
