Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Self Portrait by Valentin Vorobiev was auctioned at Sothebys in London in June 2017. The price achieved of GBP 2,500.00 (€ 2,847.03) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Valentin Vorobiev - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Scrap Metal In Europe, which sold at auction in November 2016 for GBP 7,500.00 (€ 8,849.26).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Self Portrait von Valentin Vorobiev kam im Juni 2017 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 2.500,00 (€ 2.847,03) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Valentin Vorobiev mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Scrap Metal In Europe beobachtet, die im November 2016 für GBP 7.500,00 (€ 8.849,26) versteigert wurde.
