Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2008 Sothebys in London held the auction Russian Paintings, which included the work Charlatan by Valentin Vorobiev. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 5,000.00 – 8,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 5,625.00 (€ 6,801.05) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Valentin Vorobiev have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in November 2016 the work Scrap Metal In Europe was auctioned for GBP 7,500.00 (€ 8,849.26).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2008 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Russian Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Charlatan von Valentin Vorobiev zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 5.000,00 – 8.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 5.625,00 (€ 6.801,05) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Andere Arbeiten von Valentin Vorobiev konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im November 2016 die Arbeit Scrap Metal In Europe für GBP 7.500,00 (€ 8.849,26) versteigert.
