Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Procession by Valentin Vorobiev was sold in the Russian Art auction at Christies in London in June 2018. The price achieved of GBP 3,750.00 (€ 4,238.14) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Valentin Vorobiev - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Scrap Metal In Europe, which sold at auction in November 2016 for GBP 7,500.00 (€ 8,849.26).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Procession von Valentin Vorobiev wurde im Juni 2018 in der Auktion Russian Art bei Christies in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 3.750,00 (€ 4.238,14) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Valentin Vorobiev mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Scrap Metal In Europe beobachtet, die im November 2016 für GBP 7.500,00 (€ 8.849,26) versteigert wurde.
