Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work Interior From Hvittorp. by Väinö Blomstedt was auctioned at Bukowski in Helsinki in June 2013, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of EUR 1,500.00 – 1,800.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for EUR 1,300.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Väinö Blomstedt achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work "Lake In The Wilderness". in May 2014 with an auction result of EUR 15,000.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit Interior From Hvittorp. von Väinö Blomstedt im Juni 2013 bei Bukowski in Helsinki versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 1.500,00 – 1.800,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für EUR 1.300,00 den Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Väinö Blomstedt erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit "Lake In The Wilderness". im Mai 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 15.000,00.
