The result of EUR 1,500.00 was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of EUR 1,500.00 – 2,000.00. Admittedly, works by Väinö Blomstedt have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work "Lake In The Wilderness". in May 2014 with an auction result of EUR 15,000.00.

Die Arbeit Summer View. von Väinö Blomstedt wurde im Mai 2011 in der Auktion International Spring Sale, Helsinki F159 bei Bukowski in Helsinki versteigert. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von EUR 1.500,00 entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 1.500,00 – 2.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Väinö Blomstedt auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit "Lake In The Wilderness". im Mai 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 15.000,00.
