Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Uwe Kowski could be acquired at Phillips in 12 - in April this year for an unexpectedly low price. In the Wired: Online Auction auction, the work Halb changed hands for GBP 3,810.00 (€ 4,342.16) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Admittedly, works by Uwe Kowski have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Wäsche in April 2006 with an auction result of GBP 22,800.00 (€ 32,906.84).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Uwe Kowski konnte im April diesen Jahres bei Phillips in 12 - für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Wired: Online Auction wechselte die Arbeit Halb für GBP 3.810,00 (€ 4.342,16) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 5.000,00 – 7.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Uwe Kowski auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Wäsche im April 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 22.800,00 (€ 32.906,84).
