Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2012 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale), which included the work State of Suffering No. 2 by Uttaporn Nimmalaikaew. The price achieved of HKD 68,750.00 (€ 7,161.92) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 60,000.00 – 75,000.00. Other works by Uttaporn Nimmalaikaew have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in May 2013 the work Mother & Daughter was auctioned for HKD 112,500.00 (€ 11,156.45).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai 2012 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale) durch, in der auch die Arbeit State of Suffering No. 2 von Uttaporn Nimmalaikaew zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 68.750,00 (€ 7.161,92) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 60.000,00 – 75.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Uttaporn Nimmalaikaew konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Mai 2013 die Arbeit Mother & Daughter für HKD 112.500,00 (€ 11.156,45) versteigert.
