The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 2,000.00 – 4,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 2,500.00 (€ 2,803.05) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Utagawa Yoshitora have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in March 2003 the work Igirisukoku (England) was auctioned for USD 5,019.00 (€ 4,604.59).
