In May 2018 Grisebach held the auction Frühjahrsauktionen 2018 - Photographie, which included the work Ohne Titel (Skulpturen). by Umbo. The result of EUR 1,000.00 was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of EUR 1,000.00 – 1,200.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Umbo achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Das neueste Angebot en profil in October 2000 with an auction result of USD 32,900.00 (€ 38,769.74).
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Im Mai 2018 führte Grisebach die Auktion Frühjahrsauktionen 2018 - Photographie durch, in der auch die Arbeit Ohne Titel (Skulpturen). von Umbo zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von EUR 1.000,00 entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 1.000,00 – 1.200,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Umbo erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Das neueste Angebot en profil im Oktober 2000 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 32.900,00 (€ 38.769,74).
